To do’s before streaming with a camera
Checklist
Here is our checklist with a few things you need to get right before starting your live stream with a camera. This way you’re making sure everything will go just as planned.
- The right size for dimensions are 1920×1080 or 1280×720.
- Stream in 720p (1080p will be transcoded to 720p automatically).
- If you are to stream sport which we think you are, then set up 50fps and a bitrate of 4 mbit/s.
- There are different Keyframe intervals, but it’s either the double of the amount of fps or every other second.
- Check your network so there is enough bandwidth. If there are more things that are using the network in the hall you’re in, then you have to be aware of this.
- You got the RTMP link and Stream key right? If not, we have a guide on how to find it here.
- Stream in 720p (1080p will be transcoded to 720p automatically).
