Innebandy Play launches as the new home of Swedish floorball

Innebandy Play is the new streaming and engagement platform for Swedish floorball – covering everything from the Swedish Super League to grassroots level. The platform officially launches during the World Games in China, where Sweden’s national team matches will be the first to be broadcast.

Powered by Solidsport, Innebandy Play brings the entire Swedish floorball community together in one place. Starting today, it becomes easier than ever for fans, players, and clubs to follow the sport – regardless of level.

The platform is the result of a long-term, top-to-bottom partnership between the Swedish Floorball Federation and Solidsport, announced earlier this year.

“We want to make our sport accessible to as many people as possible, and launching Innebandy Play is a big step in that direction,” says Christer Abrahamsson, Secretary General of the Swedish Floorball Federation.

“Having a shared platform that includes everything from national teams and elite leagues to youth matches is an important step forward for the entire sport.”

World Games marks the official launch

The launch takes place in connection with the World Games in Chengdu, where Sweden’s national team is competing on the international stage. All of Sweden’s matches will be broadcast live on Innebandy Play starting August 6.

The matches will feature commentary by well-known floorball commentators Mika Monzon Packalén and Marcus Magnusson – exclusively on Innebandy Play.

A complete platform for the entire sport

Innebandy Play is built as a complete solution for streaming, interaction, live statistics, and distribution – from top-tier SSL matches to grassroots and youth tournaments.

Through close collaboration between the federation and Solidsport, it is now easier to produce, distribute, and follow floorball at all levels.

“This is a major milestone for us at Solidsport and something we’re incredibly proud of,” says Johan Lundqvist, CEO of Solidsport.

“Innebandy Play truly shows what’s possible when you focus on the bigger picture, long-term thinking, and user experience. Launching during the World Games, where Sweden is showcasing the sport on the highest international stage, feels both symbolic and inspiring.”

And this is just the beginning

The launch of Innebandy Play marks the start of a broader initiative to make floorball more accessible, engaging, and commercially sustainable.
